From The Pastor’s desk
Beloved,
I bring you Scheduled Blessings greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Bright and Morning Star.
I believe that all who gave heed to last month’s teaching on holiness are exercising their right to walk in ways that please the Lord always. I also believe that everyone has plunged into the Blood of Jesus Christ and come up strong, ready for God, certain that God would make good on what He has said. Isaiah 3:10 Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, For they shall eat the fruit of their doings. God has never, and will never condone or bless sin, but His blessings are upon the righteous.
Now God has brought us into the month of November, what is His Holy Spirit saying to us as a church and individuals?
Whenever God wants to bless His people, He calls them out of sin and darkness, in order that He may bless them. To Abraham God said “…I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.” Genesis 17:1-2 and we read in 2 Corinthians 6:17-18: Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty.”
Just like God started a new path with Abraham, He is starting a new journey with you. Genesis 17:7 And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.
God is saying He will confirm the covenant in your life and that of your offspring. All covenant people in the Bible days were exempted from the harsh economic climate of their time. Everyone of them multiplied by the good hand of God. And since God has not changed, expect the same Hand to establish the covenant in your life. Remember, I have always told us that we have our part to play in order to enjoy the Blessings of Abraham: there is something WE must do. Know this; in the kingdom of God, miracles do not happen where it is needed, but where it is expected. Your faith in the covenant will make all the difference. Therefore this month of November is declared the SEASON OF A NEW ERA and our teaching this month(November 8-30) will focus on UNDERSTANDING THE COVENANT OF ABRAHAM. The scripture says “As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be…” Genesis 17:4.
As far as God is concerned, He is expecting us to make the next move and as we do what the Lord commands, a new era of possibilities and blessings await us. The anchor scriptures for the month are Genesis 17:7, Psalm 89:34 and Isaiah 43:19.
I therefore, welcome you to November, your SEASON OF A NEW ERA! God will usher you into a New Era of great wonders! You will go from one Wonderful happening to another.
Expect New Things, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Amen!
Until Next Time, remember, God Is On Your Side!
Yours in Christ,
Benson Oritsejolomisan
