From The Pastor’s desk 

Beloved,
I bring you greetings of The Glorious Life, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
There is no doubt in my mind of God’s visitation in September 2024 through the light of the Word in our midst. Please note that the Word you receive will only profit you when you put it into practice. James 1:22-25.

Now, what is the Holy Spirit saying to us as a church and individuals this October?
The world is going through difficult times, and the deciding factor of what you, as a believer, will experience is the state of your spiritual life based on the light of God’s WORD.

First of all, understand that God has made every provision available in the scriptures for you and me to be successful believers in this life, irrespective of the situation or circumstance facing us.
Now, one such provision is the weapon of prayer. JESUS promised your prayers will be answered. John 16:23-24

What is prayer? Prayer is simply communication with your heavenly Father. For every communication to be effective, it must be a two-way communication. Just like when you make a phone call, until the person on the other end picks up your call and responds, you have not communicated effectively.

However, God has made provision for your prayer to be effective and produce tremendous power with wonderful results. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF GOD’S PROVISION.

James 5:16 NKJV
“…The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
Who is a righteous person? The one who believes in Christ Jesus. Being born again is much more than going to heaven.

Every Child of God HAS Eternal life. 
1 John 5:11-13 NKJV
[11] And this is the testimony: that GOD HAS GIVEN US ETERNAL LIFE, and this life is in His Son.
[12] He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
[13] These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, THAT YOU MAY KNOW THAT YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

Now, if you have Eternal Life, you have God’s Nature. If you have God’s Nature, you have God’s righteousness. If you have God’s righteousness, you can pray the prayer of the righteous man or woman. All these things are of God, and you have no hand in it. He gave you Eternal life when you believed and received JESUS, and that Life made you God’s righteousness. 1 Corinthians 5:21

You stand complete in His completeness, filled with His fulness. You are filled with His holiness. His grace is yours. You take your place and exercise the great privilege the Father has bestowed on you.

Therefore, this month is declared as our month of PRAYER THAT WORKS. The anchor scripture is JAMES 5:16. “…The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” I WILL PRAY THE PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS!
